Red's Roost Red's Roost is a combination of layered papers and collage materials, which i then painted with watercolors and acrylics. Red is perched on a small sample of roofing shingle that has cheese cloth over it. Red may look a little frazzled, but you know he must have stories to tell. 3 of my works were juried in to the 2012 Arts Alive Gallery Show in Florence, AL. --- Aerial View and Standing Tall (which can be seen in other previous entries to the blog) and Red's Roost. This is the 13th year I have had my work juried into this show, an honor to be sure.
Red and the other works will be on display at the Arts Alive Gallery Show at the Kennedy-Douglas Center for the Arts , 217 E. Tuscaloosa St, Florence, AL, from May 19 - June 15, 2012.
